Red River Recovery: C23-122031

Released: May 23, 2023 at 6:10 p.m.

On May 23, 2023, at approximately 11:20 a.m., emergency services were alerted to a deceased adult male near the Red River bank in the 300 block of Waterfront Drive.

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service members located the male and advised attending Central District General Patrol officers. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was summoned, and the male was transported to the hospital with an autopsy pending.

Additional information is not being provided, and foul play is not suspected at this time.
