Aggravated Assault – Arrests: C23-119169

Released: May 20, 2023 at 11:28 a.m.

On May 20, 2023, at approximately 5:00 a.m., Winnipeg Police Service General Patrol members responded to an assault outside a business in the 800 block of Main Street.

Officers located an adult male with serious upper body injuries, at which time emergency first aid was provided. Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service transported the male to hospital in critical condition, later upgraded to stable.

Attending officers observed a group of suspects in the area; two males and two females were taken into custody. Charges are pending.

The Major Crimes Unit is continuing the investigation. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
