Report a crime online

Released: May 16, 2023 at 7:40 a.m.

Do you need to make a police report? Not sure if you can do it online or over the phone?

The Winnipeg Police Service would like to remind the public that should you need to report a crime or complaint you can now submit them online.

This service is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Filing your report online typically takes 15 minutes to complete as you follow a list of steps. If additional information is required, you may be contacted by an officer.

You can always call 911 to report a crime in progress or 204-986-6222 for non-emergencies. Non-emergencies include circumstances that you feel are suspicious or crimes that have occurred and the offender has left and is not returning.
