Commercial Robberies – Arrest: C23-79877

Between March 25, 2023, and April 7, 2023, multiple (4) businesses within the City of Winnipeg were robbed at knifepoint involving a lone-male suspect.

The armed suspect would enter the restaurants and confront staff while demanding money. An undisclosed amount of cash was obtained during each robbery; however, no one was injured.

All businesses involved were located in the 600 block of William Avenue and 700 block of McPhillips Street.

The Major Crimes Unit continued the investigation, and the suspect was identified.

On April 28, 2023, Darrell EASTMAN-MOORE, 18, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with robbery and weapon-related offences.

He was detained in custody.
