Assault – Public Advisory: C23-93697

On April 23, 2023, officers from the West District responded to the report of an assault on an adult female in the area of Charleswood Road.

Police met with the victim, who indicated that at approximately 10:45 a.m., she was jogging alone south on Charleswood Road near West Park Place when an unknown male approached her from behind and touched her in an inappropriate manner. She screamed, and the suspect ran through a nearby school parking lot. She was not physically injured.

The suspect was described as a male in his 20s, slim build, wearing a green army-style jacket with a grey hoodie underneath and camo-style pants.

The Sex Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and has established a potential suspect identity. Police have notified the area school about this incident.
