On March 13, 2023, at 7:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received a report of a carjacking incident in the 100 block of Foxwarren Drive. A male suspect attempted to steal a vehicle that was running unattended in the victim's driveway. The victim tried to stop the suspect, resulting in a physical altercation in which the victim defended herself. The suspect fled the scene.
Minutes later, the suspect approached another victim with their vehicle running in an open garage nearby.
