Suspicious Death - Investigation: C23-55345

On March 9, 2023, at approximately 10:45 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a multi-room residence in the 600 block of Main Street at the request of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS), attending to a medical call for service.

The attending Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service members located a deceased 33-year-old male within a suite and contacted the police. General Patrol officers from the Central District attended and advised the Major Crimes Unit, which is investigating the incident as a suspicious death.

The Major Crimes Unit has assumed the investigation. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
