On January 8, 2023, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Community Support officers from the North District were patrolling near Isabel/Logan when they observed a male riding a bike and known to have outstanding warrants.

Police took the male into custody, and an improvised firing device (held together with tape) was concealed in his waistband.

William Kenneth Junior KENT (32) of Winnipeg was arrested on the strength of the two outstanding warrants for Failing to Attend Court and Failing to Attend Ident and is facing two weapons-related charges.

He was released on an Appearance Notice as mandated by the Criminal Code.
