Fire – Investigation: C22-292817

Released: December 18, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.

On December 18, 2022, at approximately 2:50 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a hotel in the 3700 block of Portage Avenue for a report of a fire.

An adult female was transported to a hospital in critical condition and was later upgraded to stable condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
