On December 10, 2022, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers from the Central District were patrolling in the area of Keewatin Street and Logan Avenue when they observed an injured adult female in a back lane. The victim, in her twenties, had been stabbed. Officers provided emergency medical care, and she was transported to hospital in stable condition.

Initial information provided to police indicated the victim, in her twenties, was in the Keewatin Street and Logan Avenue area when confronted by a male. An altercation resulted in the victim being stabbed and her personal property stolen. The accused fled on foot.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., police located the accused at a residence in the 2000 block of Gallagher Avenue and seized the knife.

Anthony Edwin Boyetchko LEE (18) of Winnipeg was charged with:

- Robbery

- Assault with a Weapon

- Possession of a Weapon

He was detained in custody.
