On November 14, at approximately 2:30 a.m., members of the West District responded to the Old Tuxedo neighbourhood for a residential break-in (in progress).
The homeowners inside the residence called the police when they heard someone rummaging around their property. The suspect eventually broke a window and entered their residence.
Police quickly arrived and located an agitated and uncooperative male inside the residence. A conducted energy weapon, “Taser,” was deployed, and the suspect was taken into custody. The victims were not physically injured, and no property was stolen.
A 37-year-old male from Selkirk, MB, is facing Break and Enter charges. He remains in police custody.
