On November 10, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police Service officers patrolling the North End observed a wanted male operating a bicycle on a sidewalk at Main Street and Burrows Avenue.
Officers from the North District Community Support Unit approached and attempted to arrest the suspect; however, he fled from officers. Officers reacquired the suspect in the rear lane of the 200 block of Pritchard Avenue, where officers observed him disposing of a firearm in a garbage bin.
