On October 15, at approximately 7:30 a.m, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 700 block of Main Street for the report of a male that had been shot.
Officers from the North District attended and located a 42-year-old male victim suffering from upper-body injuries and a 31-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The 42-year-old male did not require medical attention. The 31-year-old male was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. The suspects fled the residence before police arrived; however, officers located one of the suspects in the vicinity and safely placed him under arrest.

In the process of being robbed, one of the suspects produced and discharged a firearm striking the 31-year-old victim in the upper body, while the 42-year-old male was beaten about the upper body using solid objects.
