Drugs/Weapon – Arrests: C22-225945

On September 29, 2022, at approximately midnight, General Patrol officers of the North District observed a vehicle with unmatched license plates travelling on Burrows Avenue contrary to regulations of the Highway Traffic Act.

Officers executed a traffic stop in the 700 block of Burrows Avenue and observed two occupants and signs indicative of drug trafficking. An adult male driver and an adult female passenger were safely arrested, and officers entered a drug investigation.

A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers produced the following items, which were seized as evidence.

- Loaded Sig Sauer .22 caliber handgun
- 4 ounces of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $8,000)
- 1 ounce of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value: $600)
- Cellular Phones
- Scale
- Packaging Materials

Through their investigation, investigators learned the handgun was one of thirteen firearms reported stolen from a residential break & enter in the 300 block of Burrows Avenue in June of 2021.

Reuben REIMER, 51, of Gretna, Manitoba, has been charged with the following offences:

- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Possession of Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Tiffany Mary Lee ANTOINE, 35, of Roseau River, Manitoba, has been charged with the following offences:

- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking x 2

Both remain in custody.
