Homicide – Investigation: C22-186182

As previously released:

On August 17, 2022, at approximately 3:05 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a hotel in the 100 block of Higgins Street for a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located a seriously injured adult male in front of the establishment and administered emergency medical care. He was subsequently transported to a hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased.

Update:

The victim has been identified as Brian Edward ANDERSON, a 40-year-old male of Winnipeg.

This investigation is continuing by the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
