Update:

The Major Crimes Unit continued to investigate a serious assault at the Forks on June 29, 2022. Two unknown groups of individuals became involved in an altercation that resulted in two adults getting stabbed and a third victim receiving minor injuries.

A 15-year-old female is facing charges of Possess Weapon and Carry a Concealed Weapon.

A 15-year-old female is facing charges of Assault, Possess Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Breach of Court Order.

An 18-year-old male is facing the charge of Assault Weapon x 2.

All three were released on an Undertaking (as mandated by the Criminal Code).

As previously released:

On June 29, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a stabbing outside the Forks Market.

Officers located three adult victims in their twenties. Two adult males had been stabbed, transported to hospital in critical condition, and later upgraded to stable condition. The female victim was not stabbed but treated for minor injuries.

With the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, six suspects in the area were taken into custody (four youths and two adults).

The investigation continues to progress by the Major Crimes Unit. No charges have been laid at this time.
