Stabbing – Arrests: C22-143334

On June 29, 2022, at approximately 9:45 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a serious assault near Spence Street and Ellice Avenue.

Police were contacted about a group of males assaulting a male by kicking him in the head and then fleeing on foot.

Officers administered emergency medical care to an adult male who had been stabbed and had upper-body injuries. He was transported to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.

Two suspects were located and taken into custody.

24-year-old Aaron David WOODHOUSE of Winnipeg was charged with Aggravated Assault and detained in custody.

30 year old, Troy William MASTERS of Winnipeg was charged with:

- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Poss is Unauthorized
- Failing to Comply with Release Order

He was detained in custody.
