Robbery with a Firearm – Investigation: C22-128829

On June 14, 2022, at approximately 3:30 a.m., police responded to the report of a robbery with a firearm near Broadway/Langside Street.

Officers met with two victims in their twenties who indicated that while they were walking eastbound on Broadway, an unknown male crossed the street and verbally engaged them. The unknown male pulled up his shirt, revealing a gun in his waistband.

The victims began to run away with the suspect chasing them at gunpoint. As they fled, one of the victims dropped some of his property which the suspect picked up. The victims made it to safety and contacted police. No suspects were located.

The Major Crimes Unit has taken over this investigation.
