Robbery with a Firearm – Arrest: C22-119482

On June 3, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers responded to Edmonton/Graham for the robbery of a Transit bus passenger.

Officers met with the victim, who reported that two unknown individuals threatened him while travelling on the bus and demanded his backpack. As the victim exited the bus, the suspects followed him, assaulting him on the ground and spraying him with what was believed to be bear spray. They grabbed his property and fled on foot.

Another passenger in the immediate vicinity was also contaminated with the spray. Still occupied with other passengers, the bus had to be evacuated due to spray contamination.

Police flooded the area and located one of the suspects at Vaughn and the Promenade. A conducted energy weapon (Taser) was deployed, and he was taken into custody.

Jarrett Dwight CRIVEA, 23, of Winnipeg, was charged with the following offences:

- Robbery
- Causing a Disturbance
- Assault Weapon x 2
- Possess Weapon
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device
- Resist Peace Officer
- Causing a Disturbance
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He was detained in custody.
