As previously released:
On June 1, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a male in his 30’s was robbed of his property and stabbed while walking in the 300 block of Ross Avenue. A resident witnessed the attack and contacted police.
Officers located a seriously injured male and provided emergency medical care. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition. Two suspects were located and taken into custody, still possessing the victim’s property.
The Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation. Investigators determined that the two suspects were unknown to the victim and walking in the same area. They confronted the victim, demanding his belongings, and he was assaulted on the ground and stabbed. The two suspects left the area on foot.
A 22-year-old male and a 17-year-old female of Winnipeg remain in Winnipeg Police custody and face Robbery and Weapons charges.

Jeremy Andrew Cook, a 22-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Robbery
- Possession of a Weapon
A 17-year-old female of Winnipeg has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Robbery
- Possession of a Weapon
Both were detained.
