Shooting – Investigation: C22-117011

On May 31, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to reports of a shooting at a lounge in the 1800 block of Portage Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers determined a shooting had occurred within the establishment, and two suspects had then fled the scene. Shortly after, an adult male believed to be involved in this incident attended the hospital with a serious gunshot wound. No other patrons were injured.

The Major Crimes Unit has taken over this investigation. Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to call Major Crimes at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477 (TIPS).
