Public Assistance – Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision: C22-104920

As previously released:

On May 17, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service and emergency personnel responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Henry Avenue, south of Higgins Avenue.

An adult female was lying in the roadway and seriously injured. She was subsequently transported to hospital in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

54-year-old Grace BLACKHAWK.



Investigators continue to seek the assistance of motorists who may have been traveling near the intersection between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and may have dash-cam footage of the roadway.
