Update:

On May 10, 2021, 27-year-old Jasmine NORMAND was found deceased in her apartment in the 600 block of Maryland Street. Her death was determined to be a homicide, and investigators reached out to the public for assistance regarding NORMAND’s whereabouts and contacts she had leading up to her death.

Over the past year, the Homicide Unit continued investigating and subsequently identified a suspect in NORMAND’s murder.

On May 24, 2022, police located and arrested Sabrina Mary Louise FAVEL, 31, of Winnipeg, at a residence in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood.
