On May 19, 2022, at approximately 4:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of an injured female located at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Kennedy Street.

Central Patrol officers attended and located a deceased female victim within a common area of the apartment.

The death is considered suspicious, and the Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators – including those with video surveillance in the area or those who may have heard or observed anything unusual – is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
