Winnipeg Police Homicide detectives have identified a suspect in the murder of Ryan SPENCE who was killed on May 1, 2022.

A warrant for Second Degree Murder has been issued for:

Christopher Curtis BONE, 31
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 355 lbs

BONE is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Homicide investigators at 204-986-6508, Crime Stoppers at 204-786 TIPS (8477), or 911.

As previously released:

The Homicide Unit took over an investigation regarding an adult male who was shot and killed inside a hotel bar in the 300 block of Smith Street shortly after midnight on May 1, 2022.

The deceased victim has now been identified as Ryan Mitchell SPENCE, 39, of Winnipeg.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
