Winnipeg, MB - All civic offices are closed on Good Friday, March 29 and Easter Monday, April 1, 2013.

Libraries

For all Winnipeg Public Libraries:

Friday, March 29closed
Saturday, March 30regular operating hours
Sunday, March 31closed
Monday, April 1all libraries will be closed with the exception of the Millennium Library which will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Online services, including catalogue searches, requests/renewals, databases, and eBooks are available anytime at winnipeg.ca/library/.

Recycling/Garbage Collection Schedule

Recycling/Garbage Collection for Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1:

Single-family homes
Recycling and garbage will be collected on the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays for those residents with Friday and Monday as their weekly cart collection day. To find out your recycling and garbage collection days:

Multi-family apartments
Recycling and garbage collection will continue as normally scheduled.

Brady Road Resource Management Facility (Brady Road Landfill)

Friday, March 295:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 309:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 319:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, April 15:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (first day of summer hours)

Winnipeg Transit Holiday Service Schedule

Friday, March 29 - Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Monday, April 1 - Winnipeg Transit will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

Leisure Centres

All Leisure Centres are closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1. Regular hours of operation are in effect for Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.

Swimming Pools

All City of Winnipeg swimming pools will be closed on Friday, March 29, except the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex which will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Regular hours of operation are in effect for all pools on Saturday, March 30.

Pools will be open on Sunday, March 31 as scheduledâ�"but will close at 4:00 p.m.

All pools are closed on Monday, April 1, except Pan Am Pool and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex. Pan Am Pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Animal Services Agency

Easter operating hours for the Animal Services Agency are:

Tuesday, April 2regular hours, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries will be open for visitation from dawn until 6:00 p.m. over the Easter weekend including Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1.
