Winnipeg, MB - All civic offices are closed on Terry Fox Day, Monday, August 7, 2017.

Recycling/Garbage Collection

Recycling, garbage and yard waste will be collected as normally scheduled on the Terry Fox Day holiday for those with Monday as their collection day.

On Monday, August 7, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Leisure Centres

Indoor Pools

All City of Winnipeg indoor swimming pools will be closed on Monday, August 7.

Outdoor Pools

Weather permitting, all City of Winnipeg outdoor pools will be open Monday, August 7. Operating hours vary by pool. For more information on City of Winnipeg swimming pools, visit City of Winnipeg – Outdoor Pools or contact 311.

Weather permitting, the following 14 wading pools will be open on Monday, August 7.

Libraries

Animal Services Agency

The Animal Services Agency will be closed on Monday, August 7.

Cemeteries

Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries will be open for visitation from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, August 7.

Hours of operation for the Winnipeg Parking Authority during the long weekend are as follows:
