Check the voters list

The City of Winnipeg utilizes the National Register of Electors, compiled by Elections Canada, as the basis for the voters list. 

Please note that it is illegal under The Municipal and School Boards Elections Act to make false statements respecting voters lists.

A match will not be returned unless the information entered is an exact match to our records.

Voter eligibility

To vote, you must be:

  • a Canadian citizen; and
  • 18 years of age or older on Election Day; and
  • an actual resident of the school division for a period of at least six months  

To vote for School Trustee, you must be:

  • a Canadian citizen; and
  • 18 years of age or older on Election Day; and
  • an actual resident of the School Division for a period of at least 6 months; and
  • an actual resident in the School Division Ward on Election Day
