Winnipeg, MB - The City of Winnipeg is offering a free, interactive panel discussion about refugee housing as part of the City of Winnipeg Housing Speaker Series.
“The City is pleased to bring together a panel of experts to share information about refugee housing in Winnipeg,” said City of Winnipeg Chief Planner Braden Smith. “This is an important and current topic as many refugees continue to make Winnipeg their home.”
This panel discussion will focus on the housing and support needs of refugees coming to Winnipeg, and will provide information on what current actions are being taken. Participants will hear from panelists who are actively involved in the provision of housing and other services for refugees and will learn about how organizations and citizens can assist in the process. Panelist presentations will be followed by a question and answer period.
