Winnipeg, MB - Give your pet a chance to share their Christmas wishes with Santa! Santa will be at Animal Services for seasonal pet photos on Saturday, November 21, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Families without dogs are also welcome to attend and can “borrow” an adoptable dog for the photo.

The new 2016 Animal Services calendar will be on sale at the event. The “cover-dog” adopted from Animal Services will make a special appearance from 12:00 p.m. noon to 2:00 p.m. to help sell the $10 calendars and sign “paw-o-graphs.” The event will also feature a craft sale put on by volunteers.

Your photo with Santa will help make it a happy holiday for dogs at the Animal Services Agency too! All proceeds from the event will go to dog adoption programming to help care for the sick and injured dogs that come through our doors like Hank. Hank has been at Animal Services for over four months. His top five Christmas wishes are:

  • To be adopted into a loving, permanent home
  • A City of Winnipeg pet licence (on sale at the event)
  • Dog biscuits and canned dog food for the pups at the Animal Services Agency
  • 6-foot leashes
