Good Friday and Easter operating hours for City of Winnipeg facilities and services

Winnipeg, MB - All civic offices are closed on Friday, April 3 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday).

Recycling/Garbage Collection

Recycling and garbage will be collected as normally scheduled on the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays for those with Friday and Monday as their collection day.

Curbside yard waste collection will begin on:

• Monday, April 6 for “Area A” properties
• Monday, April 13 for “Area B” properties

Winnipeg Transit

On Friday, April 3 (Good Friday), Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. On Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday), Winnipeg Transit will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

Leisure Centres

All Leisure Centres will be closed on Friday, April 3 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday). Regular hours of operation for all Leisure Centres are in effect for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5.

Swimming Pools

All City of Winnipeg indoor swimming pools will be closed on Friday, April 3 (Good Friday) with the exception of the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, which will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Regular hours of operation will be in effect for all pools on Saturday, April 4.

All pools will open at regularly-scheduled times on Sunday, April 5, but will all close at 4:00 p.m.

All indoor pools are closed on Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday) with the exception of Pan Am Pool and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex. Pan Am Pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
