Upcoming railway crossing closures

Atlantic Avenue between Sinclair Street and Arlington Street, and Polson Avenue between Sinclair Street and Arlington Street

WINNIPEG, MB - September 28, 2012 - The public is advised there will be two railway crossing closures in effect next week. Both closures are due to railway crossing reconstruction.

Atlantic Avenue will be completely closed to eastbound and westbound traffic at the railway crossing on Atlantic Avenue between Sinclair Street and Arlington Street starting Monday, October 1 at 6:00 a.m. until Thursday, October 4 at 6:00 a.m.

Polson Avenue will be completely closed to eastbound and westbound traffic at the railway crossing on Polson Avenue between Sinclair Street and Arlington Street starting Monday, October 1 at 6:00 a.m. until Friday, October 5 at 6:00 a.m.

Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate east - west routes such as Bannerman Avenue or Inkster Boulevard. Local traffic will continue to have access to both rail crossings during the reconstruction.
