Crime Prevention

We all have a role to play in crime prevention!

By working together with the community,
we can reduce crime in Winnipeg
and increase the quality of life for citizens.

Members of the section are active in the community providing presentations and getting citizens involved in crime prevention activities such as Neighborhood Watch, Citizens on Patrol, and Citizens for Crime Awareness. The Section also provide crimre pvention support to Winnipeg's business community through its highly regarded CounterAction Program.

Crime Prevention Officers are also active at nuermous community events throughout the year, appearing at major events with our Community Caravan or kid-friendly display cruiser alongside our trusted mascot Copper".
