Residential Robbery Arrest - Update
On February 19, 2010, the Winnipeg Police Service released information regarding a residential robbery that occurred the previous evening at a residence in the 900 block of William Avenue.
The two male victims were physically assaulted and stabbed and conveyed to hospital in critical condition. They were later upgraded to stable condition.
Two males, aged 14 and 15 were arrested at the time.
The subsequent investigation by the Major Crimes Unit has resulted in the arrest of three other males, aged 14, 16 and 17 in connection with the incident.
They were charged with Break and Enter, Aggravated Assault X 2 and the 16 year old was also charged with two Court Order breaches. All three youths were detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
The investigation is continuing.
