Winnipeg Police Service Media Release
For Immediate Release
Vehicle Robbery
On August 25th, the Winnipeg Police Service released information regarding a 21 year old male and a 19 year old male who were in a parking lot of the 2000 block of Corydon Avenue. While sitting in their vehicle they were approached by several males who demanded they get out. As they exited the vehicle they were physically assaulted. The suspects then fled in the victim's vehicle.
As a result of the investigation conducted by the District 6 Crime Unit, it was quite clear this was not a random attack and the victims were targeted.
This investigation has resulted in the arrest of Michael Fagan, 21 years of age of Winnipeg. Fagan has been charged with Robbery with Violence. An 18 year old male and two 15 year old females are facing similar charges.
Male Defrauding Seniors
On Thursday, August 31st, the Winnipeg Police Service released information regarding a male attempting to take financial advantage of senior citizens. It is alleged that this male had been targeting people in the Elmwood area by stealing personal items and defrauding people out of money for yard work not often performed.
The investigation conducted by District 4 officers has resulted in the arrest of John Robert Moore, 20 years of age of Winnipeg. Moore has been charged with Theft Under $5000.00 X 2, Fraud Under $5000.00, Forgery X 8, Utter Forged Document X 8, and Failing to Comply with Recognizance.
Sexual Assault
On July 21st, 2006, a 17 year old male victim met the suspect in Kildonan Park and was invited to the suspect's home nearby. It is alleged that the suspect provided the victim with marihuana and then sexually assaulted him.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, early to mid twenties, 5'11” – 6'1”, muscular build, 190-200 pounds, green/blue eyes, brown hair died blonde, tanned complexion, tribal art tattoo on his right upper shoulder and neck, “spacers” in both ears and a “barbell” in his upper earlobe of one ear. The suspect called himself Mark.
 
The suspect was wearing camouflage shorts, t-shirt, white “Etnie” skateboard shoes, white ankle socks, dark “DC” shoe company baseball hat, “Nixon” watch with a thick black strap and a silver face.
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect to contact the Sex Crimes Unit at 204-986-6245 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
