Get to know your city: City of Winnipeg launches new podcast

Have you ever wondered what happens to your recyclables or how we ensure stray dogs are properly cared for?

We launched a brand-new podcast, Our City, Our Podcast, featuring in-depth interviews with City of Winnipeg employees delivered straight to your favourite podcast platform, to help you get to know our city a little better.

“Our new podcast, accessible from whatever device you prefer, is another way that you can learn more about our programs and services from those who help deliver them,” said Natalie Geddes, a Public Engagement Officer with the City of Winnipeg, and co-host of Our City, Our Podcast.

Every month, we’ll release a new podcast episode tackling a different topic that impacts Winnipeggers, from 311, to Animal Services, to recycling, to Winnipeg Transit and so much more.

“Natalie and I both live in Winnipeg, and we make use of the same infrastructure, programs, and services as you. We want to know more about how these things impact our families, and hope you’ll join us on this learning journey,” said Rachel Bergen, a Communications Officer with the City of Winnipeg and co-host of Our City, Our Podcast.

We know our programs and services impact you, so let’s talk about them! Email us at city-podcast@winnipeg.ca to ask questions or suggest ideas for future podcast episodes.
