Homicide – Investigation: C23-309047

On December 23, 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service received a missing person report regarding a long-distance truck driver from British Columbia, believed to be in Winnipeg.

Investigators from the Missing Persons Unit determined that he was in the city.

On December 26, his abandoned truck was located in the West Broadway neighbourhood. Upon further investigation, he was discovered deceased at an apartment in the first 100 block of Furby Street.

The deceased victim has been identified as a 34-year-old male, Farah MOHAMUD of Delta, B.C. Family notifications have been made.
