Public invited to provide feedback on draft Athletic Field Review recommendations

Winnipeg, MB - The public is invited to attend upcoming open houses to review draft recommendations from the Athletic Field Review, which will help guide the allocation and management of athletic fields in Winnipeg.

The Athletic Field Review draft recommendations are a result of research and engagement that began in the fall of 2016. Research and input was analyzed and 14 draft recommendations are now open for further stakeholder and public comment. Four open house events are being held to provide an opportunity to review the work that was done and provide further comment so that draft recommendations can be further refined and developed into final recommendations for Council review and approval.

For those unable to attend in-person, open house information and a feedback form will also be available online prior to the events. The deadline for feedback is April 3, 2018.
