Additional information session on the taxicab license lottery added

Winnipeg, MB – Due to high demand, the City of Winnipeg is adding an additional information session to learn more about the City's processes and requirements for the taxicab license lottery and dispatcher licensing.

Information Session 3: Vehicles for Hire Taxicab License Lottery
Council approved the issuance of 60 year round taxicab licenses effective March 1, 2018 with another 60 year round taxicab licenses effective December 1, 2018, all to be allocated through a lottery. The lottery application process, drawing process, and waiting list will be explained at this information session.

Date: Monday, February 5, 2018
Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Garden City Community Centre, 725 Kingsbury Ave.
Format: Presentation at 1:15 p.m., followed by question and answer discussions
