Public invited to view detailed design and construction plans for the Fermor Avenue Bridge over Seine River Rehabilitation and Roadworks project

Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeggers are invited to attend an information session to view and provide feedback on the detailed design and construction plans for the Fermor Avenue bridge rehabilitation and roadworks project ahead of work expected to begin in spring 2018.

Fermor Avenue between St. Anne’s Road and Archibald Street, including the bridge over the Seine River, is in poor condition and needs to be rehabilitated. Road and bridge rehabilitation, as well as intersection improvements and enhancements to the active transportation network, are planned for the area. Residents will have the opportunity to view the design, learn how feedback from previous engagement opportunities was incorporated, and discuss next steps with City representatives and members of the project team.
