Regional street closures in place for the annual Manitoba Filipino Street Festival & Manitoba Filipino Street Festival Parade

Winnipeg, MB – The following regional streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic from Friday, August 25 at 5:30 p.m. until Sunday, August 27 at 1 a.m., for the annual Manitoba Filipino Street Festival & Manitoba Filipino Street Festival Parade:

  • The eastbound and westbound lanes on Broadway will be closed between Osborne Street and Kennedy Street.
  • The northbound and southbound lanes on Memorial Boulevard will be closed between Broadway and York Avenue.

Manitoba Filipino Street Festival Parade Route:
The Manitoba Filipino Street Festival Parade starts Saturday, August 26 at 9 a.m. from Memorial Boulevard between Broadway and York Avenue, proceeding north on Memorial Boulevard, then east on York Avenue, south on Donald Street, west on Broadway using only westbound lanes, then ending just west of Kennedy Street within the festival road closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during this time.
