Winnipeg Transit options for 2017 Bombers regular season home opener

Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeg Transit has some new options to help you get to Winnipeg Blue Bombers games this year, beginning with the first home game on July 7, 2017.

New this year: Stadium Station
The 2017 Bombers season will see Transit service operate to and from Stadium Station, the new special event terminal at Investors Group Field for all Blue Bomber home games and special events. All Park & Ride service, as well as extra transit service on routes 75, 78, and 160, will use the new station.

Post-event, passengers can access Stadium Station through Gate 3 and Gate 4. See our Stadium Station Map for details.

Regular Transit service to the stadium
There are several regular service bus routes that will operate to and from the University of Manitoba before and after the game or special event:

  • 60 Pembina
  • 75 Crosstown East
  • 78 Crosstown West
  • 160 Downtown - University of Manitoba
  • 162 Downtown - Ft. Richmond (U of M) - St. Norbert Express
  • 170 Downtown - Ft. Richmond (U of M) - St. Norbert

Extra regular Transit service to the stadium
There are several regular service bus routes that will have additional service added for Bomber games and special events. These additional buses are there to help make sure everyone makes it safely to the Bomber game or special event. These routes will operate with an X next to the route number. All buses marked with an X in the route number will operate to Stadium Station:

  • X75 Crosstown East
  • X78 Crosstown West
  • X160 Downtown - University of Manitoba

Park & Ride Service
There are seven special event Park & Rides located across the city that provide non-stop service to and from Stadium Station at Investors Group Field. Click here for the game day/special event Park & Ride map. Post-game service will operate from Stadium Station located outside Gate 4. Stadium Station can also be accessed from Gate 3. Park & Ride locations are as follows:

Post-game service
All Park & Ride service and extra regular service on routes 75, 78 (via Cambridge and via Kenaston) and 160 will operate from Stadium Station, located outside of Gate 4. Route 162/170 can be caught at its regular stop, University Crescent at Freedman.
