Winnipeg, MB - Due to yesterday's blowing snow conditions and extremely cold temperatures, the City of Winnipeg's garbage and recycling collection service continues to experience some delays.
Garbage and recycling collection is operating slower than normal. Delays are expected (more information below).
The Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot remains closed but materials will be accepted at an alternate location within the Brady Road Resource Management Facility (more information below).
The Brady Road Resource Management Facility has reopened to commercial traffic only. Garbage collection has resumed but is expected to be slower than normal (more information below).

- Due to cold weather, extreme wind chills and blowing snow, garbage and recycling collection is operating slower than normal. Delays are expected.
- The Brady Road Resource Management Facility (Brady Road Landfill) is open to commercial traffic only and is operating under regular hours.
- The Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot remains closed. An alternate disposal area has been opened for residents to drop off materials. Please follow the signs at the site to access this temporary location.
- If Wednesday was your collection day and your carts have not been picked up by 4:00 p.m. today, please call 311 to report a missed pick up.
- If yesterday (Thursday) was your collection day and your carts have not been picked up by 10:00 p.m. today (Friday), please put them away to allow for snow clearing and then place them out by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.
- If yesterday (Thursday) was your collection day and your carts have not been picked up by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, please call 311 to report a missed pick up
- If today (Friday) is your collection day, please leave your carts out until 10:00 p.m. tonight. If your carts have not been collected by 10:00 p.m., please put them away to allow for snow clearing and then place them out by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
- If today (Friday) is your collection day and your carts are not collected by 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, please put them away to allow for snow clearing and then place them out by 7:00 a.m. on Sunday.
