Public invited to an information session on the St. James Sewer System Improvements

Released: December 5, 2016 at 12:32 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeggers are invited to attend a public information session about a local Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Relief Project occurring in and around Jae Eadie Park on Parkside Drive.

The project begins in January 2017 and will take approximately 19 months to complete. A new sewer outfall and some new land drainage sewers will be installed as part of the project. The new sewers and outfall will help improve the water quality of our local rivers and lakes, and protect your property from basement flooding. This project will also lead to the rejuvenation of a local park that will be briefly impacted by the construction.

Date: Thursday, December 8, 2016
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (drop-in format)
Location: Ḗcole Assiniboine School, 175 Winston Road
