Regional street closures in place for the annual Filipino Festival, August 19-20

Winnipeg, MB - The following regional streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic from Friday, August 19 at 5:30 p.m. until Saturday, August 20 at midnight, for the annual Filipino Festival:

  • The eastbound and westbound lanes on Broadway will be closed between Osborne Street and Kennedy Street.
  • The northbound and southbound lanes on Memorial Boulevard will be closed between Broadway and York Avenue.

Filipino Festival parade route:
The Filipino Festival parade starts Saturday, August at 9:00 a.m. from Memorial Boulevard between Broadway and York Avenue, proceeding north on Memorial Boulevard, then east on York Avenue, south on Carlton Street, west on Broadway using only westbound lanes, then ending just west of Kennedy Street within the Festival road closure.
