Fort Garry Library users asked to use temporary entrance during library renovations

Winnipeg, MB - Fort Garry Library, located at 1360 Pembina Highway, will undergo entrance renovations and re-landscaping starting Monday, April 11. Construction is expected to take four weeks, and will temporarily block access to the library’s front entrance, including the book return.

All users are asked to use the temporary entrance and 24/7 book return located at the back of the building, accessible via laneways off Pembina Highway or Dowker Avenue. This temporary entrance is partially wheelchair accessible; there is no automatic door. Nearby fully accessible branches include Osborne Library and Pembina Trail Library. Patrons are also welcome to contact Fort Garry Library staff for alternate holds pick-up arrangements.

Fort Garry Library’s hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesdays and Fridays: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sundays: closed
