Winnipeg, MB - City crews are ‘ready-to-serve’ and prepared to deal with snow that is in the forecast for Winnipeg tonight. Crews are monitoring road conditions and will apply winter ice control materials to improve traction, and provide truck plowing services, where warranted.

As outlined in the Council Approved Policy on Snow and Ice Control, sanding and plowing efforts will initially be focused on 1) main routes (Priority 1), and 2) bus routes and collector streets (Priority 2).

Parking Ban
Only the regular Annual Snow Route Parking Ban is in effect at this time, meaning parking is prohibited between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on streets displaying “Snow Route” signs.
