Sturgeon Road Twin Bridges over Sturgeon Creek bridge deck repairs begin June 22

Winnipeg, MB - Beginning Monday, June 22, 2015, one lane will be closed in each direction on the Sturgeon Road Twin Bridges over Sturgeon Creek for bridge deck repairs. One lane of traffic in each direction on Sturgeon Road and access to the Grace Hospital will be maintained at all times. The repairs are expected to be completed by the end of September.

These repairs are warranty work due to the premature deterioration of the concrete bridge deck. All costs under this warranty work will be assumed by the contractor that performed the original work.

Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
