Tee up the City of Winnipeg golf app today!

Winnipeg, MB - Golfers, get ready: the City of Winnipeg's golf app is ready for download to your iPhone or Android device! This free app is the first of its kind in Manitoba and will be your best buddy all season, from booking your tee time to tracking your scoring statistics and everything in between. As a pilot project, the City of Winnipeg Golf Services app currently services Kildonan Park and Windsor Park golf courses.

Using the app, golfers can:

  • book tee times for Kildonan Park and Windsor Park Golf Courses,
  • get accurate GPS yardages for each shot,
  • view a map that shows the layout of each hole,
  • view hole by hole fly-overs, giving golfers a bird’s eye view of each hole,
  • develop your own personal player profile that shows how well you score on each type of hole,
  • receive updates, promotions and discounts for City of Winnipeg golf courses,
  • track real-time leaderboards for City of Winnipeg golfers,
  • receive current weather information from Environment Canada,
  • view the food and beverage menu for each participating course, and
  • share details of your round with your friends on Facebook.

Between Tuesday, June 9 and Monday, June 15, 2015, golfers can download the free app, present it at Kildonan Park or Windsor Park Golf Courses, and receive $5.00 off their green fee. As an added bonus, PAR Loyalty Program members will receive an additional 500 Par Points which can be used towards a free round of golf.
