Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service update: Hargrave Street apartment block fire

Winnipeg, MB - At 6:42 pm tonight, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to a report of a fire in a four storey apartment block in the first one hundred block of Hargrave Street. Upon arrival, firefighters conducted a defensive operation as the building was fully engulfed.

Thirteen WFPS apparatus were involved in the operation.

The building was vacant and there were no injuries. Cause of the fire is under investigation and a damage estimate is unavailable at this time.
